This is my go-to app for MP3 audiobooks. I love the customizable gestures and High-quality audio when speeding up playback. Also that it remembers your playback position within each song, even for music files(optional setting).

Why Apple likes to break things that work makes no sense. Fortunately this app makes audiobooks so they can be listened to again. It is not first in line to start via headphones so you have to select the app to start listening but it is quick and responsive unlike the apple app which can take a long time to launch. I have more audiobooks than music.
Use all the time in learning songs - great for a beginner learning to play different instruments
I listen to my med school lectures on high speed on my phone while drawing out an outline. I frequently stop and rewind. This app makes it so easy. I put the phone in my pocket and control from my Apple Watch. Makes learning so much easier for me. Thank you app developers!!! You improved my life.
Perfect for audiobooks
I am a self proclaimed audiobook junkie, and this has become my go to app. Audibles app can speed up only Audible formatted books - this does any .mp3. Plus, it is significantly more variable, speeding up the audio at 5% increment vs audible which does it only at a few. The range is important as depending on the author the rate I can do changes. The audio quality is great - it doesnt sound like the chipmunks. With this app I usually can listen at 1.65, meaning a 10 hour audiobook now only takes me 6 hours. This has become one of my most used apps.
Does just as described. Sleep function and auto bookmark functions make a lot like audible app. Just as good as nano for audiobooks. Well worth the small fee.
I always us this to listen to audiobooks. Apples 2X speed is way too fast. Speedup lets you set the speed in 10% increments. I usually listen at 1.3 or 1.4X. It is also great that SpeedUp Player keeps its own playlist, so you can play music in the Music/iPod app and come back to SpeedUp to continue where you left off. I just wish it would tell you how much time is left at the current playback speed.
The app is stable and much better than a different one that I had used for years.
I access files in Dropbox and on my iPad easily. Im able to listen to training files at 1.5 to 2 times speed. This saves me a huge amount of time. I select 4 hour long files to listen to one after another. The only issue is that when it finishes one file and starts the next the speed goes back to 1X. I would like it to stay at whatever speed it was at for the previous file.
