SpeedUp Player Pro App Reviews

Good speed up player

That´s what exactly need to listen to hours and hours of teachings

No Dropbox integration

As opposed to what is advertised in the lite version, this app is NOT integrated with Dropbox... You might as well stick with the free version.

Great App.

I am using this app on iPad every day for many years. Request to Developer; please, make it for iPad in landscape resolution. Will be very grateful.

Only half useful

This app speeds-up playback, which is nice. But its missing a crucial function: the ability to bookmark your audio files! Im listening to a long lecture on mp3 right now, and Im constantly going back over the same material because there is no ability to bookmark where you left off. Until that feature is implemented, this app is not even half finished.

Amazing!

Since the day I got my iPhone, Ive been searching for an app that can playback my iPod music at a quicker speed - it is perfect for lectures. Five stars. And with the recent update, it got even better :)

Good app, wish there was iPad version

Very useful if you are listening to audio books or re-downloaded podcasts where you want to do a quick short rewind to rehear what was said. I wish there was an iPad app as more functionality could be available with the increased screen space and I use the iPad in landscape view mostly so everything is out 90 degrees, but still useable. It would be nice if there were some more options in the playlist such as sorting by tag fields such as artist (authour), title, album, year, etc. This would be probably easier to implement in an iPad version with the additional display space.

Needs immediate update

Great, great app, but doesnt work with IOS5. When you try to change tracks, the library comes up empty, then it just crashes. Please update asap.

Great for podcasts

I use it all the time when I manually download podcasts through other apps (GoodReader), and to manage a playlist now that iTunes Match doest support podcast playlists. Also the gestures to control playback are really useful.

The ultimate app for faster audio playback

This app is the best I found that you can change the speed of audiobooks or podcasts. It allows me to use its internal storage as well so I dont have to only rely on iTunes app on iPhone. Recording and bookmarking in the files are a bonus too.

Needs a little polish

Works well but could do with a little flair with the interface.

Fantastic

Bookmarking, control, selection. Comfortable audiobooking to satisfy any audiophile. If u audioread a lot thos is for you. Period. If youre looking for that convincing post from someone who was also looking for something that could make their life easier, This is it.

So useful

I listen to audio shows all the time and this app just makes my life do much easier. The key features that make this app more then worth it are the features you can control such as tapping the screen to pause the program and swiping the screen to auto rewind. And you have complete control of what feature you want to assign to each gesture. For someone who listens to audio on the way to work these features are invaluable and well worth the price of the app.

Just what I need

2x reads clearly without giving me distortion of the speakers voice, and that makes listening to lectures and audiobooks quick and comfortable.

Excellent

Great. Plays my library books but not my purchased books … odd.

Super slow

Very very slow, and sometime not even working. You press and nothing happens. Potentially it could be very good, with a lot of function, but you have to fix those bugs before to sell it!

Podcast listener

Once you find your podcast, very good for listening to podcast you can go through it at preferred speed, and easily fast forward or rewind. However, it is sometimes difficult to find your podcast from the iTunes library. The other feeling with this app, is that it doesnt mark your podcast as having been played.

I have no words.

Unlike every other player that I have ever listens to or used, this one offers the ability to speed up and slow down audio with only the most minimal loss in audio quality. If you find most music too slow to listen to, most lecturers too boring, and crave intellectual stimulation, I cannot recommend this player highly enough. Better than s**. Yes, really.

Great app

Excellent way to listen to podcasts!

Amazing app. Tried many, but this is the best

I dont normally rate apps, but when I see one that is great, I want to make sure others know it too and hopefully help others make an informed choice. I have this installed on both iPhone (iOS 5.1.1) and iPad mini (iOS 7.0.4). Tried the lite version and quickly decided to get the full version. Ive tried so many other audio app (default Music app, Audible Audiobooks, Pastime Audiobook, Top Audiobooks Player, Audiobook & Podcast, Podcasts, and a bunch others I cant remember). I was looking for an app that is more condusive for audiobooks. I have thousands of books, each book comprised of multiple files by either chapters or certain lengths or even one huge file sometimes. SpeedUp is also useful to regular music files, but it truly shines with audiobooks IMHO. The default Apple app is very poor in playback control and bookmarks. Heres why I highly recommend SpeedUp Player Pro: - variable playback speed from 0.5x to 2.5x with decent pitch control. For me, its not terribly useful on the extreme end, since I like to playback about 1.2-1.5x speed depending on book and narrator. - bookmark - sleep control, 10, 20, 30, 60, 120 mom. Ive fallen asleep so many times listening to an audiobook. - quick gestures to go incrementally forward or backward, customizable - recording functionality and playback speed is better controlled than through default Apple app (very useful for meetings to take notes). Can export audio file to integrate into other apps if you want - links to Dropbox if thats where you store your audio files In my case, I use it mostly for fictional audiobooks and audio drama (I have other apps that are better music controllers). But I also found this app useful for audiobooks that help you learn languages (constant playback and slow speed adjustment), recording meetings (and transcribing). I havent used it for podcasts so youll have to use your own judgement. I highly recommend this app. I also have their other app SpeedUpTV on both iPhone and iPad. Again, its far far superior to default Apple Video app. Judge for yourself.

Awesome

Does exactly what I want.
